Dear Business Owner,
We are excited for what’s to come in 2022 for our local businesses and community.
We recognize being a business owner during these unique times has been difficult. So much has changed in the way we work, socialize, and do business. The last 2 years have put unwanted stress on many local businesses and programs. Like many businesses, the Chamber has also been affected and less able to support the needs of the local business community.
As we progress into 2022, we must advocate for our business community and pull together to grow and support the exciting economic opportunities. With the upcoming possible changes to our Hamlet, it is important to support our current businesses. We are excited to announce our revamped Hampton Bays Chamber of Commerce and introduce you to the New Chamber Officers!
Christine Taylor, President is a local business owner and Hampton Bays resident since 2007. She is passionate about supporting our local businesses and community. She is very active in our community - Board Member of Friends of the Hampton Bays Public Library , Hampton Bays Civic Association and Hampton Bays CAC and has organized many wonderful events including the annual Santa visit and tree lighting. Christine enjoys spending time with her family and friends patronizing our amazing local restaurants, beaches and parks. She loves to help people promote their businesses, create networking opportunities and community events for all to enjoy.
Christopher Monroe, Treasurer Some of Chris’s fondest childhood memories are of visiting local beaches in Hampton Bays. It was no surprise that when an opportunity presented itself for him to move to Hampton Bays as Store Manager of TD Bank, he enthusiastically jumped on it. Chris has spent the past 15 years working in banking, he prides himself on his knowledge and expertise to help business owners achieve their overall financial goals. Over the years, he has passionately lent his free time to various volunteer opportunities throughout Central and Eastern Long Island. When not at work, he values his time spent with family and close friends
Lisa Porco, Secretary has been vacationing and enjoying Hampton Bays since 1990. Decided to settle down in Hampton Bays and purchased her home in 1999. She enjoys quiet time at her home with her family and friends, watching the boats at the Inlet, and Hampton Bays beautiful sunsets views. Today, she promotes Hampton Bays businesses, local, and community happenings with her Instagram page – 2thebays. She is looking forward to #bringingbackthehappy with the revamped Chamber and the many possibilities in our hamlet.
